Contribute to us being fully self-supporting, and give to our Seventh Tradition collection

3% Cover the Fee

By our NA seventh tradition we are directed to practice being fully self-supporting and to decline outside contributions. One of the ways we do that is financially. If you can give, please do as it helps make the Pride & Progress Retreat a reality. If you can't give, please do not worry. You are far more important to us than your money. All donations are given fully anonymously.

Why donate? Narcotics Anonymous saves lives. So too can our retreat.

We have costs to cover to make this retreat happen including accommodation, food, tea, coffee, insurance, workshop materials and audiovisual equipment amongst others. Your contribution helps ensure the reality of, and the future for, the Pride & Progress Retreat.

Our Seventh Tradition directs us to practice being fully self-supporting and to decline outside contributions. Therefore, we only accept contributions from members of Narcotics Anonymous.

Share with others

Your donation could help fund a bursary or scholarship place for someone else who is in need of this spiritual retreat but otherwise unable to financially support their attendance. Give as much as you can, but if you can’t contribute, please don’t worry.

If you’d like to attend the Pride & Progress Retreat but cannot afford it, please contact us and let’s discuss together to see if there might be options.

Fully self-supporting

Please note, nobody who organises or assists in making the Pride & Progress Retreat happen is paid for any of their work. We give not just financially but also of our time, commitment and love.

    ———

Our Seventh Tradition directs us to practice being fully self-supporting and to decline outside contributions. Therefore, we only accept contributions from members of Narcotics Anonymous.

Donations made to our Seventh Tradition support the costs of the retreat which are not all fully covered by tickets and registration charges, as we want to keep the retreat as accessible as possible to as many NA members as possible. We are not profit-making; all retreat funds are invested back into the retreat and ensuring future retreats can take place.

  • Our organising committee is made up of LGBTQ members of NA and we are fully self-supporting.

Whilst we currently have a full service and organising committee for the event, we both greatly welcome and need your support at the retreat itself. If you’d like to be of service and support during the retreat, please do contact us and let’s get to know each other. We can’t wait to hear from you.
